Pricing
Jet Washing Services
How much will jet washing cost me?
To calculate the price of our jet washing services, we use three metrics; effort, time, and the number of operators that would need to be involved. To help us with our metrics we take into account the following:
Type of surface, i.e. brick or stone, driveway, patio, block paving, walls, etc.
Area of surface in metres squared.
The state of what we would be jet washing, i.e. whether there are black spots (lichens or algae), weed coverage and depth, and the level of dirt on a surface.
A good example would be a block paving driveway that hasn’t been recently jet washed, that is in poor condition (surface algae, plus weeds and dirt between the bricks), measuring 100 metres squared, and might take 1 operator with a Karcher professional jet washing machine a full 10 hour day costing between £500 - £700, jet washing only.
We charge a minimum rate of £125 on any jet washing job. If the area we are jet washing is small, we will still need to charge £125 as it covers our time; turning up, setting up, and doing the work. This isn’t a call-out fee and the £125 isn’t added to any job price, it’s just a minimum rate.
Is there any pressure to accept a quotation?
None at all! We are happy to quote in person, but we can also quote over email or WhatsApp by seeing pictures and measurements. A client will never feel pressured by us to have any work done. Pushy sales are not our thing! We believe that our references, photos, videos, and the information presented on our website are enough to showcase what we do.
How long does professional jet washing take?
The time it takes to jet wash depends on the metrics listed above; type of surface, area of the surface, and state of the surface.
We are always very thorough, for example; when we jet wash between the brick and block surfaces we remove the weeds as far down to the root as possible. This takes time, and you could expect one of our operators to cover between 6 and 12 square metres per hour. Jet washing a wall may take less time as we do not necessarily need to remove weeds, however, walls can present their challenges, just like other surfaces including patios which often have stubborn areas like ‘black spot‘ (lichens and algae) that can be removed.
Is the sanding and sealing price included?
The sanding and sealing price is separate from jet washing. We do not charge any markup on materials, and we display the cost of the materials in the formal quotation, which we send using Xero software to a clients email address. An example of our sanding costs would be; Nexus ProJoint PolySweep: Polymeric Block Paving Sand, which costs £32.39 per bag and on average each bag covers 7.8 square metres. We calculate and include in the quotation how many bags are needed for a job, plus what we are charged for the delivery of this item which is £78. A sealant we often use is Thompsons One-Coat Patio & Block Paving Seal, which costs £31.99 per tin and covers an average of 30 square metres per tin.
Landscaping and Gardening

This isn’t a call-out fee and the £125 isn’t added to any job price, it’s just a minimum rate.
