Pricing

We are a small family business that has a team of six operators, and we have a fantastic supply and waste chain! These factors enable to us to keep our pricing low, for you, the client, whilst still providing an excellent, professional and friendly service.

  • We install block paving and permeable gravel driveways at competitive prices, efficiently.

Most driveway installations are unique, due to the client’s requirements and what work would be involved. We must factor in ground preparation, the materials required such as the type of block paving or gravel bed, as well as waste removal.

Due to varying factors, to allow us to quote fairly and competitively, please contact us to arrange a free no obligation quotation.

  • We install porcelain, natural stone and concrete patios at competitive prices, efficiently.

Most patio installations are unique, due to the client’s requirements and what work would be involved. We must factor in ground preparation, the materials required such as the type of pavers, the shape (curves or straight lines) as well as waste removal and any drainage required.

  • Day rate per operator: £290 plus VAT.

There are many designs and endless possibilities, (such as materials, shape and size), and we work with you ‘the client’, to build what it is you want.

If you see something you like online, you can send us a message asking for a guide price to build/install your gazebo, or we are more than happy to offer inspiration and provide a face to face, free, no obligation quotation.

Our custom gazebos can be built onto an existing patio using post supports, into a new patio where the post supports aren’t needed or into a lawn area.

  • Day rate per operator: £290 plus VAT.

Similarly to our custom gazebos, the pricing for custom ponds is unique to the type of pond you require. There are many designs and endless possibilities, and we work with you ‘the client’, to build what it is you want.

Things to consider when designing and building your pond:

    - What kind of fish you would like to keep in your pond (Koi/Sturgeon/Goldfish).

    - Size (volume) and shape.

    - Type of liner.

    - Type/’s of filtration (mechanical/biological/UV).

    - Safety (for people, pets and wildlife).

    - Access (for maintenance).

If you see something you like online, you can send us a message asking for a guide price for us to design and build your pond, or we are more than happy to provide a face to face, free, no obligation quotation. As a general guide, to price your pond design and build, we would estimate how many days are required to complete your project and charge a day rate for our operators, plus materials and waste.

  • Day rate per operator: £290 plus VAT.

We use a sandy loam topsoil, perfect for turf laying, and good quality, lush green (plastic free) turf, then a feed to encourage the turf to root and grow into a lawn to be proud of.

When quoting a turf supply and laying job, we consider the state of the ground to be turfed, as this would determine the time, materials and equipment needed to prepare and lay the turf.

Upon installing turf, we provide our clients with aftercare instructions to help get the most out of their new lawns (deep green colouring and strong roots).

  • Day rate per operator: £290 plus VAT.

We charge a minimum rate of £125 plus VAT on any landscaping/gardening job. If the area we are working on is small, we will still need to charge £125 plus VAT as it covers our time; turning up, setting up, and doing the work. This isn’t a call-out fee and the £125 plus VAT isn’t added to any job price, it’s just a minimum rate.

  • How much will jet washing cost me?

To calculate the price of our jet washing services, we use three metrics; time, effort and the number of operators that would need to be involved. To help us with our metrics we take into account the following:

    • Type of surface, i.e. brick or stone, driveway, patio, block paving, walls, etc.

    • Area of surface in metres squared.

    • The state of what we would be jet washing, i.e. whether there are black spots (lichens or algae), weed coverage and depth, and the level of dirt on a surface.

A good example would be a block paving driveway that hasn’t been recently jet washed, that is in poor condition (surface algae, plus weeds and dirt between the bricks), measuring 100 metres squared, and might take 1 operator with a 3000psi professional jet washing machine a full 10 hour day costing between £500 - £700 plus VAT, jet washing only.

We charge a minimum rate of £125 plus VAT on any jet washing job. If the area we are jet washing is small, we will still need to charge £125 plus VAT as it covers our time; turning up, setting up, and doing the work. This isn’t a call-out fee and the £125 plus VAT isn’t added to any job price, it’s just a minimum rate.

Is there any pressure to accept a quotation?

None at all! We are happy to quote in person, but we can also quote over email or WhatsApp by seeing pictures and measurements. A client will never feel pressured by us to have any work done. Pushy sales are not our thing! We believe that our references, photos, videos, and the information presented on our website are enough to showcase what we do.

How long does professional jet washing take?

The time it takes to jet wash depends on the metrics listed above; type of surface, area of the surface, and state of the surface.

We are always very thorough, for example; when we jet wash between the brick and block surfaces we remove the weeds as far down to the root as possible. This takes time, and you could expect one of our operators to cover between 6 and 12 square metres per hour. Jet washing a wall may take less time as we do not necessarily need to remove weeds, however, walls can present their challenges, just like other surfaces including patios which often have stubborn areas like ‘black spot‘ (lichens and algae) that can be removed.

Is the sanding and sealing price included?

The sanding and sealing price is separate from jet washing. An example of our sanding costs would be; Nexus ProJoint PolySweep: Polymeric Block Paving Sand, which costs £32.39 per bag*. We calculate and include in the quotation the amounts of materials we will need to cover the measured areas, plus what we are charged for the delivery of the materials which is £78*. A sealant we often use is Thompsons One-Coat Patio & Block Paving Seal, which costs £31.99 per tin*.
