We often recommend and use Nexus ProJoint TITAN – High Strength Epoxy Paving Grout to create a robust finish for our clients driveway. We start by pushing the grout between the joints using a large outdoor squeegee, then, with smaller squeegees we skillfully navigate the grout between the lines, filling any remaining voids, leaving a flush finish at the bricks surface.
When we sand our clients block paving driveways, we always recommend we use Nexus ProJoint PolySweep: Polymeric Block Paving Sand. the sanding process begins by sweeping the sand into the joints, and then depending on the surface of the driveway, we may then use a wacker plate, to further compact the sand between the bricks. The wacker plate allows the sand to fill any voids, resulting in a more robust finish. Sometimes with newer driveways, the wacker plate is not necessary.
We very much enjoyed jet washing, and sanding this driveway, and watching it transform. To give this driveway a professional finish we used a Karcher professional jet washing machine, and Nexus ProJoint PolySweep: Polymeric Block Paving Sand in ‘silver grey‘. The misting of the sand, allows the water to percolate through the surface, helping create a firm joint.
This was another extremely satisfying job; jet washing, sanding, and sealing this driveway. It is always so rewarding, knowing that what we are doing is making someone else happy. On this project, we used a petrol-powered jet washer and a Karcher professional jet washer. To give the ultimate finish, we used Nexus ProJoint TITAN – High Strength Epoxy Paving Grout and Thompsons one coat patio and block paving sealer.
This particular product is a fast-setting epoxy paving grout, that is weather-resistant and comes in a variety of colours; basalt, mid-grey, and neutral. We always recommend using us, the professionals, to apply this mixture of sand and resin to your driveway due to its fast-setting nature. We enjoy using this product a lot and recommend it to our clients. Another sand we recommend to our clients is polymeric sand, as it shares similar properties in terms of weather resistance.
